Dennis nominated Jane for the TaB Hall of Fame in early September, 2005. He says:
“My wife, Jane, is the biggest Tab-aholic I know. She’s been drinking it for as long I have known her, since 1982. And when I say drinking, I mean tons. When she went on a business trip to Jamaica, she packed it in her luggage. When we moved from the Midwest to Maryland, she called the local Coke distributor to find out what store carried Tab. When we moved to Missouri, we had to do the same thing…
Here is a photo of Jane (with her mom) and of course her Tab. She is never far from Tab. As I mentioned, she packs it in her bag when we vacation. Makes for heavy luggage. When we lived in an area with no cans of Tab, she had neighbors scouring the countryside. One guy found six cases of Tab in a country store, and bought ALL of them for Jane…
Jane drinks less Tab now than she did a few years ago. When we first met, she was drinking 8-10 cans a day. She’s cut down to 2-3 now! She still is not happy unless she has some in the fridge. When we go to see her parents in Milwaukee, we stock up at the store…they sell the elusive refrigerator 12 pack there. We generally will return to St. Louis with as much as the truck will hold! ”
Dennis, Jane is lucky to have you–how would she carry all the TaB without your help? 😉
